Acceptance of Terms
By registering, paying, or using any service offered by Language Club Egypt ("Language Club", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
These terms apply to all members regardless of tier (Club or Academy) and all interactions with our platform, including our Telegram community, live sessions, and digital content.

Membership Tiers
Language Club Egypt offers two membership tiers:
- Monthly subscription, billed each month
- Early-bird rate: 500 EGP/month for the first 3 months
- Standard rate: 700 EGP/month from month 4 onwards
- Includes: Telegram community access, live group sessions, daily prompts
- Per-course enrollment, one-time payment per course
- Average price: 1,200 EGP per course (8 structured sessions)
- Includes: structured CEFR-aligned curriculum, placement assessment, session recordings (30-day access)
Membership is personal and non-transferable. Sharing access credentials or Telegram invite links is prohibited and may result in immediate termination without refund.
Payments & Billing
All prices are in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely through Paymob, Egypt's licensed payment gateway.
Accepted payment methods include: Visa/Mastercard, Meeza card, Fawry, Vodafone Cash, and Orange Cash.
- Club subscriptions are billed monthly from the date of first payment
- Academy course fees are charged once at enrollment
- Paymob may hold a reserve of 3–10% of transaction value for up to 90 days at launch, per Paymob policy — this does not affect your membership
We reserve the right to update pricing with 14 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle.

Refund Policy
We may issue a refund or credit at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:
- A technical error caused duplicate billing
- A session was cancelled by Language Club with no replacement offered
- You were unable to access the service due to a fault on our side within 48 hours of payment
To request a refund review, contact us at hello@languageclub.eg within 7 days of the charge. Include your membership ID and a description of the issue.
Refunds, if approved, are processed back to the original payment method and may take 7–14 business days depending on your bank or wallet provider.
Community Rules
Language Club Egypt's community is hosted on Telegram. All members must follow these rules to maintain a safe and productive learning environment:
- Communicate respectfully — no harassment, discrimination, or hate speech in any language
- Stay on topic — English learning, practice, and related discussion only
- No spam, self-promotion, or unsolicited commercial messages
- Do not share session recordings, materials, or group links outside the community
- Do not use the group to organise activities outside Language Club without moderator approval
- English practice is encouraged — Arabic support messages are welcome; sustained off-topic Arabic chat is not
Violations may result in a warning, temporary mute, or permanent removal from the group and termination of membership without refund, at moderator discretion.

Content & Intellectual Property
All session content, conversation prompts, course materials, and recordings created by Language Club Egypt are our intellectual property. Members receive a limited, personal, non-sublicensable licence to access and use content during their active membership.
- Session recordings are accessible for 30 days, then automatically deleted
- You may not redistribute, resell, or republish any content without written permission
- Screen-recording live sessions without explicit consent is prohibited
Content you contribute to the community (messages, comments, answers) remains yours, but you grant Language Club Egypt a royalty-free licence to use it for moderation, quality improvement, and marketing (in anonymised or attributed form, with your prior consent for attributed use).
Privacy
We collect name, email address, phone number, and payment data to provide our services. Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure within EU/EEA-region data centres.
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties
- Payment data is processed exclusively by Paymob — we do not store card numbers
- Telegram ID is linked to your membership to enable group access and session reminders
- We may contact you via Telegram or email for membership updates, session reminders, and community announcements
In compliance with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL No. 151/2020), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Contact us at hello@languageclub.eg.
Termination
You may cancel your Club subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused days.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice or refund, if you:
- Violate the community rules (Section 5)
- Share access credentials or invite links with non-members
- Engage in abusive behaviour toward staff, teachers, or fellow members
- Provide false information during registration
- Attempt to circumvent payment
On termination, your Telegram group access will be revoked. Academy course materials remain accessible for the 30-day recording window only.
Limitation of Liability
Language Club Egypt provides services on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, fluency levels, or exam results.
To the fullest extent permitted by Egyptian law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.
We are not liable for: third-party platform outages (Telegram, Google Meet, Paymob), internet connectivity issues on your side, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced in the Telegram group at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
